Phlebotomy Technician Program
This course provides the comprehensive skills for individuals seeking to become
certified phlebotomy technicians. Upon completion of this class, participants
will be prepared to apply their knowledge to take the American Society for
Clinical Pathology (ASCP) national certification exam. This 160-hour course
will include:
- 40 hours of didactic classroom training
- 50 hours of clinical classroom training
- 70 hours of on-site clinical training
Cost includes textbooks, learning materials, scrubs, shots, insurance and
exam fee. The class will be held at San Juan Regional Medical Center in the
Laboratory Conference Room (2nd floor in the Laboratory).
This 10-week program will be held July 14 through
September 18, on Monday and Thursday evenings.
